Date: 5:00pm PST November 19, 2014 Location: South Chapel, Lewis & Clark Graduate Campus
South Chapel, Lewis & Clark Graduate Campus
What will inspire our youngest writers to become so prolific they groan when writing time is finished? How can these writers be empowered to raise their voices for social justice? Through poetry— and yes, it’s included in Common Core Standards.
Come join us for an evening of creation and inspiration as we examine poetry written by children, learn how to mine mentor poems for rich and meaningful lessons, and create poetry of our own within a community of writers.
This class is part of our Workshop Series.
