Join Michael Williams and Vince Peccia of Search Associates as they provide you with an introduction to teaching and working in international schools, including tips on how to successfully navigate an international teaching job search.

About the Presenters
Michael Williams earned his Masters in Educational Administration in 1981 from Central Washington University and served as an Elementary Principal in two districts in the Puget Sound Region. In 1989, he was assigned as the Principal of Shanghai American School where he served for two years. He then returned to the Pacific Northwest to take up a position as an Elementary Principal and Coordinator of International Programs in the Puyallup School District. In 1998, Michael returned to Shanghai where he served for nine years at Shanghai Community International Schools. He has served on numerous accreditation visiting teams for the Western Association of schools and Colleges, at a variety of schools throughout Asia.
Vince Pecchia has spent a total of thirty seven years in the field of education as an elementary school teacher, an elementary principal, and as the Director of Elementary Education. During his tenure, Vince was awarded the Distinguished Principal’s Award from the Association of Puyallup School Principals and the Ed Zeiger Award for Exceptional Service to Children. Vince is instrumental in the operation of the job fairs in San Francisco and Bangkok, and enjoys traveling to Italy. Vince lives in Tacoma, Washington with his wife Marci.
