Who are you now? Come away and explore this question with individuals like yourself who know the challenge of sustaining themselves in their personal life and work, and discover ways to live more wholeheartedly by connecting who you are with what you do in the world.
This retreat is based on the Circle of Trust® approach developed by Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal®. It will be an opportunity to discover who you are now as you explore your inner truth and where you find yourself at this time and place in your life. This retreat is open to everyone.
- Gain greater access to your inner wisdom and a new depth of self-knowledge.
- Discover a process for discernment to reach clarity around life and career transitions.
- Be in a Clearness Committee as described in A Hidden Wholeness by Parker Palmer.
- Learn principles and practices that can be applied to your daily life and work.
- Enjoy the quiet beauty of the Collins Retreat Center located in a beautiful farm and woodland area just 45 minutes from Portland.

Cost: $450 per person (double occupancy) or $500 per person (single occupancy)

About the Facilitators
Faye Orton Snyder is an ordained Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister who recently retired as Senior Pastor of Lafayette Christian Church (DOC). She remains actively engaged as a writer, clergy and congregation retreat leader, speaker, and consultant for churches seeking transformation. She and Caryl Hurtig Casbon recently developed “A Geography of Grace: A Four Day Courage and Renewal® Institute for Clergy and Congregational Leaders.
Alan Claassen has served the United Church of Christ primarily as an interim minister helping many congregations turn the time of crisis and transition into a time of renewal and transformation. He is also a singer/songwriter and enjoys the way that music is able to open the heart and build community. Alan is in the Mentorship phase of the Center for Courage and Renewal® Facilitator Preparation program.
