The children's reponse to the child who died in the fire 'going back into the burning house to rescue his teddy bear,' the way the children honored his 'space,' for a time after his death evoked a very poignant reaction in me. It would also appear Ms Edelman gave the children space to grieve in their own special way. While some may dismiss this exercise as some kind of dissociation or wishful thinking, I also see power in it. Can it also be called resiliency?
