Some of this is due to skill issues, and some of it is due to indifference – if not resistance- to what is occurring in the classroom. This course is designed for middle and high school teachers who are facing the challenge of engaging a wide range of students with literature. Film SmallWhether renting from NETFLIX, or creating pieces for YouTube, today’s teens are immersed in film and video. Through this class, you will develop strategies and lesson plans for integrating film and video into all aspects of the Language Arts curriculum including reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking.
