Weekly Highlights
 Do you have students in your class who are resolute non-readers both inside and out of school? Some of this is due to skill issues, and some of it is due to indifference – if not resistance- to what is occurring in the classroom. This course is designed for middle and high school teachers who are facing the challenge of engaging a wide range of students with literature. Participants explore how short texts can support students' skill development as readers, writers, and students of literature. Learn more about this course....
 Whether renting from NETFLIX, or creating pieces for YouTube, today’s teens are immersed in film and video. Through this class, you will develop strategies and lesson plans for integrating film and video into all aspects of the Language Arts curriculum including reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking.
