    5:15pm - 6:15pm Charlie and Tricia Franck, educators with a lifetime of experience in teaching in “certificated” positions internationally, will be on campus to provide detailed information on seeking certificated teaching positions internationally.  (A “certificated” teaching position is one that requires the teacher to hold a U.S.-issued teaching license…as opposed to “teaching English abroad” positions that do not require a teaching license nor any formal training.) 

    Registration is NOT required.

    8:30am - 4:00pm For grade 9-12 educators working in environmental science, STEM, international studies, geography, economics, vocational and career education, and many AP and IB courses.

    This special one-day workshop held at the World Forestry Center offers a hands-on introduction to forests around the world, sustainability, and related environmental, economic and social issues.

    10:00am - 12:00pm If you are a veteran teacher/specialist, an out-of-state applicant or a college graduate who will be licensed by August 2012, Salem-Keizer Public Schools is hosting an Educator Fair -Teacher/Specialist Get Acquainted Interview Day.

    This is an informal event where you will have an opportunity to meet District Administrators and have one 15-minute interview with an administrator from Elementary, Middle or High School.
